Dan Borislow talks about Marta’s signing with WNY Flash
Just four days ago, magicTalk SC owner Dan Borislow talked about wanting to sign five-time FIFA World Player of the Year, Brazilian Women’s National Team forward Marta. But Tuesday night, the Western New York Flash announced that they had acquired Marta, taking over the third year of her contract. Late Tuesday night, Borislow told Our Game Magazine in an email: “This came as a total surprise. I am glad she will be playing in the league. She will discover we are the team to beat, so I hope she is at the top of her game when she plays us.”

Not even sure who is on his “team to beat”, when will they release a roster and other information about this magic team?
On a side note, Mr. Borislow learned how even in a league with only 6 teams that it is not as easy as he may have assumed to build the best team.
IMO, WNY Flash are now the team to beat, until some other team can unseat Marta from the top of the WPS it looks really good for her and the Flash that they should be contending for the title in 2011.

At this point, you can almost assume that every notable free agent not otherwise signed is headed to Freedom Rock FC. Almost. They’ll have a good roster. Just wondering who’s selling the tickets.

Investments to keep US Soccer at its top of the game, must be welcome and appreciated. I encourage anyone capable to do so, to do it, and if the resources are not possible, teach, play and enjoy the game. Not all can communicate with the ball. I have played with Dan, and several of his friends, family, its the best feeling you can have.
If coaching needed, there are plenty of skills/Coaches in South America willing to help your project.
