Ten WPS players on U-23 roster that will play in Four Nations Tournament
The U.S. U-23 Women’s National Team will head to La Manga, Spain, from Feb. 21 to March 2, for the Four Nations Tournament. The U.S. will compete against England, Norway, and Sweden’s U-23s. Of the 18 players on coach Bill Irwin’s roster, 10 are on Women’s Professional Soccer (WPS) rosters. (more…)

The 2011 Women’s Professional Soccer (WPS) jerseys were unveiled Thursday night in New York City by PUMA. A number of players from around the league showed off the new home and away kits as well as the new Project Pink jersey. (more…)
Becky Edwards latest player to sign with WNY Flash
Former FC Gold Pride midfielder Becky Edwards has signed with the WNY Flash of Women’s Professional Soccer (WPS). The 22-year-old recently was called up by the U.S. U-23 team for its mid-December training camp at The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif. Edwards joins a Flash team that last week acquired Swedish international Caroline Seger and U.S. Women’s National Team midfielder Yael Averbuch. (more…)
